Why to have a focus ?
If you have a focus in your book collection you can hope for some reasonable degree of completeness. A focused collection reflects much better who you are and what your desires are. It distinguishes a Personal Collection from a Library.
A focused collection which has achieved a good degree of completeness, attracts qualitative interest in the case you wish to sell some day. In simple words it has a higher value.
Last, focused collections can be pursued with limited budgets. Otherwise no amount of money is enough.

How it works
- You may send up to 3 keywords. These can be changed any time.
- You will receive your Collection-Focus results on a weekly basis via your default email.
- Up to 10 best matching results will be send each week. You will be notified if there are many more results.
- If there are persistently no items appearing that correspond to your keywords, consider widening their scope.
- If there are consistently more than 10 results, consider restricting the scope of your keywords.
- Our team will send you the AC Auction ID for each auction that contains a matching item. Sometimes you will also receive the Lot Number if available. Please follow the link Book Auctions in AuctionsCodex and enter the auction ID’s into the Calendar field, separated by commas, as shown in the picture.
- The desired auctions list will appear. Open the catalogs to find your items.
- Open the attached Auction Notebook to enter your notes about your favorite items and/or to activate the Auction Alert.
- We do not automatically activate the Auction Alerts for your Collection-Focus results. Please activate the desired Auction Alerts in the attached Auction Notebook.
- This service is free for 30 days, during the 30-days-trial period of the subscription plan (Premium and Professional). You must enter a suitable subscription plan to receive your Collection Focus results. You may cancel anytime.
- The keyword search cannot expected to be 100% accurate because of the variations in the descriptions of the individual items by the sellers and auction houses.
